1 – Leaving Home
It’s creepy knowing that you’re about to leave home and travel to New Orleans to a haunted hotel, but saying goodbye to your BFF’s is very hard.
I find my toothbrush and comb and try to squeeze them into my suitcase.
As soon as we got there I was amazed because it looked like a ghost town with hardly anyone about. Mum finally found the hotel. It looked weird, like a deserted factory.
We stepped in and booked room eleven. The woman handed us the keys to our room. We walked through the hall and I saw markings of where someone died and police surrounding it.
When we arrived at our room an old woman at room thirteen was standing outside her door and I could tell she was out of breath. I asked her
“What’s the matter?”
“A-a-a-a-a,” she replied.
“A what?” I asked.
“A ghost.” She answered.
“I’ll go take a look.” I said.
