The Truth

Live and die

We all breed the same

To please

To be one and all

Hate and love

We all make dust one day

The young and old

Bold and cold

Just live and let die.

A piece of life

You killed me

You loved me

To hate and love

I left and you bred

Only to lie with your head

But your eyes could tell no lie

And today I die

I watch you and him

What’s up with Tim?

Love or Lost

You decided to bust

I came and went

My heart was bent

You were to be my wife

Only you decided to leave my life

How could you flee?

You loved me

You killed me

Club

Hanging outside a club

Scoping out the girls

A trio came up

But had few to say

Went to leave

But said “fuck it” and went in anyway

Thumped to the music

Fade in and out

One girl here

Another there

One on my bud

Another avoiding the dud

Saw the trio

Bounced with 2

Handed one to my bud

Kept the other

Left the club

With a girl on my arm

And my heart in her hand

We watched the trio leave

Only to find us

Walking home alone.

The Toad

The sun in my face

I gotta get off this base

With a motor beneath

And two wheels supportin

It’s time to get sportin

Where I go

I don’t know

I just feel the road

Watchin for the toad

Avoiding Murph at every turn

Trying not to burn

Go I must

Try not to bust

Getting looks

Trying to be seen

I might be mean

But just stay outa the way

I’m coming through

You might be blue

But I’m not

No phones, people or anything

Don’t get in the way

Just me and my girl

Blowing in the wind my frill

Huggin the road

Just watch for the toad

We

We don’t need to fantasize

We are what we think we are

We do what we think we do

We see what we want to see

We hear what we want to hear

We say what we don’t mean to

We lie cause we want to

We close our eyes to the world

We opened our eyes in the beginning

Only to close them shortly after

We think people care

We think we care

We think we’re heard

We listen

But do we?

We treat animals better

We live only to die

We celebrate ourselves

We don’t think we are

But we are

We make laws

We make things to believe

We try to organize

We leave others out

We are what we are

The Bike

With the wind in my hair

On my way to the fair

I’m going to terrorize

But you can sympathize

I need to let it loose

You can booze

I got this

You got that

Taking flight

You gawk at the site

With nothing attached

I’m totally detached

No worries, fears, thoughts

You say to leave

But I say you need to believe

What it’s like

To be on a bike

The tell of the Dragon

A gentle beast

That likes to feast

He knows much

But is not the best of the bunch

Most people hardly notice

But he is in solace

With many a mistake

He has been forced to bake

With love

With joy

With sorrow mainly

He has been shot plainly

By one and all

Left alone to fall

The women come and go

Mainly for his fire

For when their hearts need warming

He is there for scorning

If he cares

He feels tears

If there is no feeling

There is still bleedings

He is one

If you meet this one

Treat him as your one

For he will

He is the dragon

It’s the time to get on the wagon.

Contents

Step

We are born to live

And live to die

If life is a STD

Then death is the only cure

No one has ever died healthy

We all make mistakes

What makes some better than others

Is how we learn from those mistakes

What makes a good parent

Is not the kid

But how we teach the kid

To take responsibility

For our actions

As well as theirs

To accept the truth
