Tammy is four years old she is an only child, but her mommy is going to have another baby soon. Tammy is such a big girl she loves helping her mommy out with cooking, and cleaning. When ever Tammy's cousins come over to visit, Tammy gets mad when her mommy does things with them and not her. Tammy is always the center of attention, since she is an only child. "Aunt Sarah how long before you have the baby?" Jill asked her aunt. "Will I have until the end of September" Sarah told Jill. "Mommy,mommy, me want to go to the park" Tammy said to her mom. "After dinner we all well go to the park" Sarah said back. "What's your brother doing, why didn't he want to come visit?" Sarah asked Jill. "He is staying at one of his friends tonight" Jill said back. "Jill can you get Tammy from her room for me?" Sarah asked. "Sure I can get her for you" Jill told her aunt back. "Tammy it's time for dinner, lets wash up and then go eat" Jill said to her cousin. "Ok Jill, I want to go to the park after dinner, so me will try to be good" Tammy told her cousin Jill. The two cousin went down stairs to the kitchen table for dinner time. "Hey girls did you wash your hands?" Sarah asked the girls. "Yes aunt Sarah we washed our hands" Jill to her aunt back. All the girls at the table started to eat their dinner when, all of a sudden there was a knock at the door. "You two finish eating, I'm going to get the door" Sarah told the two girls. Sarah went to answer the door and when she got the door, the door swung open. "Oh my gosh baby your home, wow" Sarah said to her husband Tom. "The army let me out today and I thought I would surprise you with the knock at the door" Tom said. "Daddy, daddy, your home I missed you" Tammy said to her dad. "How's my big girl been, have you been a big helper for your mommy?" Tom asked his daughter. "I'm a big helper, Jill came over to play with me for the weekend" Tammy told her daddy. "Hey Jill how are you?, Wow you have gotten bigger since I last seen you" Tom said to his niece. "I am eight years old now" Jill told her uncle Tom. "Daddy we are going to the park after we finish dinner" Tammy told her daddy. "Wow you must be a lucky girl to get to go to the park" Tom said. They all finished up dinner and went to wash up so they could go to the park. As they all were walking to the park Jill and Tammy where chasing each other having some fun. "Girls not so close to the road" Sarah told the girls. They finally reached the park and the two girls ran off the play ground to play. "I'm glad you are home, you will be able to be here when the baby is born" Sarah said to her husband. "Yeah I'm glad to be back for when the baby is born" Tom said back. It's been a half hour since they have been at the park. "Can you get my husband please, my water just broke, he's pushing the girl on the swing" Sarah said to this kind lady. "Excuse me are you the pregnant lady's husband?" The lady asked him. "Yes I am Why you ask" Tom said. "She wanted me to tell you her water broke" the lady said. After the lady told him, Tom told told the girls they had to go. As Tom got to Sarah he called for an ambulance. "It's ok sweetie the ambulance well be here soon" Tom said. "Ok thanks hun" Sarah said back. As the ambulance got here Tom took the girls home to get the car a head out to the hospital Sarah was going to be at. "Is mommy going to be ok daddy?" Tammy asked her daddy. "Your mommy well be ok, she is going to have a baby, your going to be a big sister" Tom told Tammy. When they arrived at the hospital Tom called his parents then Sarah's parents to let them know Sarah was going to have the baby. "Mommy you going to have a baby now, will I still be your favorite kid?" Tammy asked. "You both will be my favorite" Sarah told Tammy. Tammy got mad when her mommy told her she wont be her only favorite. "Tammy come here we need to talk" Tom said. "Ok Daddy" Tammy said back. "You need to know that your mom and I love you very much, but now there well be a new baby and we are going to love you both the same, you will be a big sister" Tom explained to his daughter. "Ok daddy, can we see the baby now" Tammy said. So they all went to see the new baby. "Look Tammy you have new baby sister" Sarah told her daughter. "I'm your big sister I well show you my stuff at home" Tammy told her new sister. It's been two days since Sarah has been at the hospital. Sarah was finally at home with her new baby Kaily. A week has passed by since the family has changed to new things with a new baby in the house. Tammy was getting used to having a little sister. Tammy wanted to do every thing with her sister, but she knew the baby cant do much since she was little. Every day Tammy's mom would teach her things about babies and how to take care of them. "Sweetie here is how you feed a baby, you hold the baby make sure the head is supported and slowly put the bottle in the baby's mouth and the baby will start drinking the milk" Sarah told her daughter Tammy. Tammy was happy to have a sister now she would be able to do a lot of things with her. A month went by and Tammy was still trying to show her sister every thing, Tammy played with toys with her sister. Sarah and Tom where so happy to see that their big girl Tammy was doing such a good job with her sister. The family was growing more and more each day, and Tammy was being an awesome big sister. For awhile before the baby was born Tammy was not being very good with all the talk about having a little baby around. When the baby was born Tammy learned that having a baby around is not so bad, she knew that she could be a big help to her mom and dad. Tammy could teach her sister everything that she knew when her baby sister gets older. The family had so much going on and with Tom out the army for now he had to go back to working his old job, so that he could help support the family some more. Every day was such a wonderful day for the family. Once the baby gets older they well be going on trips and going to fun places and learning new things little by little every day. They had new things to learn and things to teach other thing could not have gotten any better since baby Kaily was born.
